The internet is a valuable resource, yet specific information can be hard to pinpoint.  Sometimes to much information is worse than not enough!  We have joined some travel trailer Facebook pages which have been an incredible resource for up to date reviews and campground information.

After much thought, we streamlined our route into less stops and shorter travel times between locations shooting for an average of 3-5 hours per drive.  Research has hopefully given us a good idea of how much time we need in each location to get a feel for the area and enjoy the sites, without feeling stagnant.  We have intermixed week long stays at high end campgrounds with some dry camping and/or shorter stops.  As we do not have laundry on board, making sure we have relaxing clean up days has to be factored in to our journey.  Being military, we are going to utilize military family camps when available to save money and add in some nice security.  Plus, there are a few military retirement details Keith will need to take care of while we are traveling.

We will be doing another blog post on free / cheap dry camping options we have found while researching this trip, as well as what we have learned about reservations and when you can simply wing it!
